Meet our chef - Jaymal

Returning to Rajkot Indian Tapas & Bar, where he originally joined in 2005, our chef brings unparalleled expertise and distinctive flavours. His unique skills and passion are the essence of what makes Rajkot special, making him an invaluable asset to our team.

From his beginnings as a farmer in India, our chef discovered his culinary passion while working at a hotel resort in Gujarat. After moving to the UK, his skills and dedication advanced him from sous chef to head chef. Now, as the chef-owner, he takes pride in crafting each dish with care, ensuring that every meal is a true reflection of his culinary vision and expertise.

ODEDRA OKRA FRIES

Our family’s favourite okra, delicately seasoned with a mix of spices and coated in a crisp golden crust.

CRISPY AUBERGINE
